Hello. I have been working out as part of my 6 month monitoring prior to surgery. I have days where I focus on my arms and days when I focus on my legs and cardio all the time. Recently, my knees have swollen. I have tried anti inflammatory meds, ice packs and I have curbed my cardio and weight amounts considerably. My knees are still swollen.
Have any of you had this happen? What did you do to get the swelling down?

My next appointment isn't until 11/9, so in the mean time I am just going to take it easy.
What kind of cardio? If you are running, then your running form could be impacting your knees. (Mine causes my calves to tighten up - ugh.)
Or if you are doing stationary bike and the bike isn't adjusted right.

My cardio has been walking on the treadmill or using the Arc trainer. I did a circuit training class on Wednesday and then did my leg workout on Thursday; I also walked just under 2 mi. I haven't lost enough weight to start running yet and the bike always seems boring to me.
