I did a 3.5 mile run 5 minutes under my cut off time.  What did you guys do today?

I walked a paved path pushing only one child for 46 minutes, 3.07 miles. Still way off from my normal pace and not sure why.

30 minutes eliptical 1576 steps.

22 minutes treadmill 1.5 miles. I did this weird amount just to hit 600 on my iPod.

Nice job Duane!

After 6-hour long meeting, I escaped to the gym for a nice long workout to de-stress:
- 25 minute walk on the treadmill
- full circuit of strength training (arms & legs) and stretching
- 60 minute spin class

It was wonderful to be moving after being glued to a chair all day.

Thanks Cassie.  Do you like the spin classes?  My wife and I would like to try some over the winter.

I love my spin classes.  I close my eyes, pedal like a banshee and sweat to the beat.

It's a low-impact way to build my endurance and I can determine how hard I'm going to work by adjusting the tension.  Sometimes, I use the class for active recovery.  Other days, it's one of my key workouts for the week.

The key is to go to your first class early to meet with the instructor to get your bike set up properly.   I think you'll both enjoy it.

40 minutes of weights (back/bi/shoulders), 30 minutes on the treadmill @ 6.5 and 6.6 MPH pace (15 minutes each), 65 minute strong spin on the stationary bike, and then back on the TM for a 6 minute jog then 15 minute cool-down walk @ 3.5 MPH....
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I did a crossfit workout. I did the kettlebell swings and goblin squats as prescribed but worked on some turkish get-up technique instead of the rest of the workout because of my injury.

That's one reason why you need the Garmin.
