Entry level tri bike
"I know that a good bile is well over a grand but I do not want to wait that long to start riding."....
I will sell you good bile for way under a grand! LOL.. Couldn't resist.. That was an awesome typo! I would say that given your budget, look on Craigslist, and you might be able to get more of a road bike with some clip on aero bars than you would be able to get with a TT or Tri Specific bike. Best of luck.

Even an entry level tri-bike is going to cost more than $600 unless you find one used.
Simply putting aero bars on a bike does not make it a tri-bike. The goemetry is different on the bikes.
I made the same choice you are looking to make right now and I have regretted it ever since. There are some benefits, i did get to start riding sooner, but after a year I am wanting to replace the bike already.
Bikes direct dot com does have some bikes in the 600-700 dollar price range, but I'm not familiar with them or their quality.
Here is an article on the differences

Good luck with your search.
