Rochester Marathon

I ran the Rochester Marathon today as a training run for my marathon next month.  It was beautiful day for a run - about 54-degrees at the start with cloud cover.  Much of the course was on a bike path along a canal.  My hamstring gave me some trouble so I took it nice and easy and finished in 5:11.  I have 4 weeks 'til my next marathon, then I'll be able to tell you if this strategy worked for or against me.

It was nice not having to worry abou****er and know there was a medal waiting for me at the end of today's "training" run.

Congratulations Cassie on a "training run" of 26.2 miles! WOW-talk about your long runs! And 5:11 is a great time, hamstring trouble or no trouble

Great job, as always!  Sounds like you got it made.  Watch those hammies.  They can come back and haunt you.

You gotta be more careful.  You are going to breakout in good health!

Think of the impact you may be having on members of your community,....
Next thing you know, they might start exercising more. Then how would you be able to look at yourself in the mirror!!!
