Good gym bag?

Alright, I've finally gotten into the exercise thing.  I strive to go at least 4x weekly, and I've been getting in 5x a week...my motivation is the scale results!

Anyway, I'm having gym bag issues.  I'm on my 2nd one in 8 weeks.  I bought a cheapie at WalMart that ripped.  So, I spent a little more and got (what I thought was a nice) Adidas gym bag.  Only 7 days later, it's already ripping.  I will hopefully be able to return it tomorrow.

The bags are ripping on the inside.  You know how many gym bags have pockets on the ends?  The "plastic" (for lack of a better word) that separates the main compartment from the end pocket is what is ripping.  Any suggestions on a better brand?

Thanks!
Elli

Whatcha doing to these poor bags--jumping up and down on them with cleats?? Wow, woman, you're tough on equipment!

Seriously, though, I would check out Land's End online, or Jantzen online to see what kind of gym bags they carry. Frankly, though I've never bought a gym bag from these companies, they both make EXCELLENT backpacks that stand up to a lot of punishment. So if they did make a gym bag, I would trust the quality 100%.

Thank you both for the suggestions.  I'll check 'em all out.

And I've been buying big gym bags (30") but they just aren't standing up to 2 towels, a full change of work clothes (I go before work), the hair dryer, and all the other assorted sundries.  And I won't even talk about the 3rd towel on the days I use the pool!

Thanks again!

I like these.

They hold up well.  I do renaissance fairs and armored sword fighting for a hobby.  I can store my metal armor in these and they hold up really well.  I have seen them in black and green.
I prefer the heavy canvas to the ripstop nylon or cordura.

Here is a link to one in black

Here is another one that has the zippered ends

These heavy canvas bags hold up so much better than those nylon bags.

I got mine at Target. It's an Eddie Bauer and it's lasted me over 6 months.
