Well,  I think I've found my next challenge.  I haven't registered, yet; but, I don't see how I can resist partipating in the inaugural Ironman 70.3 in Syracuse when it's only an hour from home.

I'm going to have to tap into the advise and wisdom of all of you who have already achieved Iron 70.3 glory.   This stuff is just so darn addicting.

You go Cassie!  It sounds like you train pretty hard, I'm impressed by your workout postings.  Hopefully I'll be doing one in a year or so.

Thanks Duane.  I'm sure your consistency and commitment will get you there.  You've been a regular fixture here ever since you introduced yourself on the boards.  We'll get it done!

 hmmm,
Got to start thinking about/planning next year.  So many great races and this isn't an unreasonable drive (6 hours or so) for me......

Saxman,

It'd be great to meet you if you add Syracuse to your race calendar.   I'm trying to talk my cousin into joining me.  We did our first sprint together earlier in the year.  I don't think it'll be too hard of a sell.

That's very cool Cassie!

I need to wait until I'm out of school to train for the long ones (class+study+work=limited training time), but they're coming for me also!

That's great.  You go get em.  It's nice to have a big event so close to home.  I hope you thoroughly enjoy the experience.
