What sites to find tri's

I have a friend who in interested.  Where do you find tri's in your area.

Is your friend's name Scott? And is he a marathon freak? Just curious.... try www.trifind.com

lol.   I was going to put , a friend, in quotes but that would make it too obvious.  It really is for a friend but I do intend to get a bike next spring and well see what happens.  I'd love to do one.

i just use the search tools on active.com or a basic google search....

All of the ones I have are specific to California, but I used google to find those.
We have a couple local organizations that run them all year long.  In the winter they tend to do the off road x-terra ones.

Here's a link for some in MA. I registered for the Buzzards Bay Tri in Dartmouth MA on 9/20. They have several every year in MA.  I did one of these in July and it was very well run.
