OK, you know the drill,...spill it,......what did you conquer today???

I did another 4.2 mi at lunch (same route as yesterday) but at 1 min faster pace per mile.  Yesterday I avg 13.3 and today I avg 12.2 mins per mile.  I'll take that.

Run, Joe, Run!! Whoo-HOO!

Today I am doing a 6 mile run. I'm kind of bored with my usual routes right now, so I am just going to take my pedometer with me and be intuitive about it.

My goal for this week is to make 30 miles. I added up my totals for August (the first month I've done this) and it was 100.96 miles! Dang. I think my mom would've been proud.

That is an awesome accomplishment for Aug.  You should be seeing some significant gains in your abilities as a results, I would think.

Like doing 6 miles and being bored,... doing intuitive routes on the fly,.... and not selling yourself short from lack of committment and no certain finishline to push yourself too.

It was the best feeling when I was training for the half last year and I would schedule 6 or 8 mile routes and feel like going farther at my end point and choose to added a few more blocks or go till I felt I couldn't.  It was amazing how the body just kinda responded to the training and goal to do more,..and quite exilerating to get home, map my route and find I had added 1 or 2 miles.

Hope you are having those same kinds of uplifting experiences I hope to regain.

Early morning spin class for me.  Legs/feet/knees giving me some trouble so I'm getting new shoes either today or tomorrow.  That's my cue since I almost never have pain or sore legs.

Two workouts for me today.  I feel great!  First was a 65 minute run on the treadmill - 5 minutes warming up and 5 cooling down and 55 was actually running.  Today was an easy run day - so I kept it at 4.5 mph the whole time.   (I just wish I could do that outside too! but I will get there).

Then I had a 35 minute walk tonight.

They added a Zumba class on Tuesday nights so I went.  Tuesday is usually my rest day.  My 4 year old went with me and he did great.  What good fun we had together.  Tomorrow I plan to shoot for 2.5 miles on the treadmill and a little weight training.

I haven't been posting my workouts as of late, but have been working out hard and just to lazy to post.

Today I did a 3.2 mile run and 20 mile bike, the weather in MA today is just perfect, 75 degrees and dry.  I love the fall, it's my favorite time of year.

Today was a rest day for me.  My body was just way too tired from yesterday to pu**** any further.  Tomorrow I'll be right back at it.
