Sore Tail Bone

Hi, folks!  I began my WLS journey in December 08.  My lap band surgery was 3/30/09 and so far I've dropped about 70 pounds, including pre-op.  I work out at the gym 4-5 times/week.  My hips alone have gone down 14 inches.  My favorite cardio is the elliptical which I do for 30 minutes.  That is wonderful for slimming down your hips and rear end.  But I now have a sore tail bone.  Everyone says its because I've lost so much fat in my rear.  Anyone else experience this?  Does it subside as time goes on?  Many thanks for your comments.  Hugs, Pat

I've experienced the same thing, Pat. It's from sitting on your skinnier/flatter butt, now that you are becoming a Hottie!!

Takes some getting used to. I don't have a solution, except to get up and walk about once an hour, if you've got a desk job or spend time online. Donut pillows also work!

Been there done that. Mine has gotten better over time, but I still get a pain in the ass now and then.Congratulations, you now belong to the skinny ass club!

Actually there is something you can do.  Do squats, but muscle exercises, etc.  It does work because I've lost so much weight so fast 100lbs as of today woohoo ...
