Good job Dan.

Does anyone have a link to live coverage feed. I went to the link on Ironman.com and had live feed early on, but I cannot get it any more. Is it trouble with my connection or are others having trouble as well?

I tried to get the live feed too and couldn't.  Earlier I at least got the commercial before the update.

We went to Louisville yesterday and checked it out, met Dan and his wife and son.  They're really nice people.  He was excited about today.  It was a really neat experience to see how the event was going to take place.  We wish that we could have stayed and took in the race today.  There were really a lot of neat people there.

It seems like this is a lot cooler and wind not as bad as Dans training here in Texas. The weather Channel says temps are 73 and winds out of the north at 8. I know he trains in a lot less favorable conditions. Hopefully his nutrition is right on.

I'm about 2 hours north of Louisville and the weather has been great here today.  I'd think that it would be just about ideal conditions for the tri. today.

Hopefully one our ironman finishers can chime in.
Watching the streaming finish line and would like to try to keep an eye on it and see Dan cross the line

Here's the thing, I'm going to guess maybe a 13:00-13:30 finish considering he's looking at a 5:30 marathon pace right now but I don't know how that relates to the TT style start of the swim in Louisville.  Anyone have an idea of when he actually hit the water?  Is the 13-13:30 a somewhat realistic thought of his finishing time?
Very cool stuff and he's doing great out there!!
