Music suggestions

Yeah a good beat or rythym helps a lot.  Like I said most music is just in the background for me and I don't hear it, especially if I am struggling.  That's why I like and want something that just pounds out the beat.  It forces its way in and helps take my mind off of a bad run or some difficulty.

I stick mainly to the classic rock stuff:  AC/DC, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, Ozzy, Poison, Motley Crue, even Rush.  I love Blues, especially Stevie Ray Vaughan but I can't work out to Blues.

Two other songs that I like but have not seen mentioned are: 1) Lose Yourself-Eminem 2) Remember The Name-Fort Minor

I run for those who can't or won't.  I run because I once was one of those people.

I like MotionTraxx podcasts for my runs -- they have the music in a set bpm for the whole podcast (which are generally an hour long).  I like the tribal 10-k one which I think is about 160 bpm.  They have some that are up to 180 bpm as well.
