Wednesday's workout

I ran 6 miles this morning.  I had to walk a bit at the 4 mile mark due to cramps in my mid-section.  Usually some deep breaths do the trick but not today.  I ran the final 1.75 after getting the cramps under control.

How did you do today?

Looks like your running is going okay, though.  That's good to see.  Sucks about the cramps though.

I did 4 miles today.  Repeats of 0.8 miles at 6.8 then 0.2 miles at 7.5 for the first 3 miles.  Last mile: 0.5 miles at 6.8, 0.2 miles at 7.1, 0.3 miles at 8.0.

Thought about swimming, but I'll do that tomorrow.  My body's still tired from Sunday's race.

Thanks Linn.  The running is comming back.  I have adjusted my 1/2 marathon goal to a sub 2:10 which is 7 minutes off my pr but still would leave me respecting myself with a good effort.

Great job with the speed work!  Nothing beats it.

I had a rest day today!

My plan is to get up EXTRA early for my 5 mile run tomorrow because it is going to be HOT, and I want to be out there BEFORE the bit where the awful sun causes spontaneous human combustion!

I ran two miles worth of intervals on the treadmill and I lifted weights (complete upper body).

that is my favorite workout.  Something about the speed work really revs up the workout.  Good job.
