Body Building Competitions

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with body building competitions/training?  I was wondering how to get started, pros and cons, etc.  I had RNY on April 1, 2003 and a lower body lift on September 14, 2005.  I have gained back 45 pounds since my surgeries, but I want to get back on track and have a goal in front of me.

Any help/information would be appreciated!

All my best,
Lori

I have a friend who has competed on Mr. Connecticut and now judges it.  What kind of questions would you like me to pass along.

I know that the concept is simple - pulling it off is a different story.  Get as muscular as you can while keeping your body fat low.  As the competition comes closer, drop the fat% to almost nothing to look ripped.

This topic would interest me somewhat.

Not so much for bodybuilding but for gaining to help with loose skin. Does anyone have any expierence with taking workout supplements? I had LAP BYPASS and it is a lot harder for my body to absorb things.

Anyone have some supplements they have found that work for them at all? Protien is my main supplement and powdered BCAA's.
