My SIL gave me a pair that she wasn't using - she swears by them but she is no athlete and wouldn't know the inside of a gym if it fell on top of her!  I tried them and concluded they are a gimmick.  They are very unstable and it's easy to turn an ankle especially if you are walking on cobblestone streets.  I wear a metabolism calculator and I got no more calories burned with these shoes than with my normal jogging shoes.

There's a knockoff brand out now - sold in Kiosks at malls - I can't remember the name but look for them - they're under $100 - worth a first try if you really think this is the answer.

Thanks for the feedback. I have seen the 100$ Skechers on line but have yet to try any on.
Avon Curves had a knock off as well and it's no longer available, other than Ebay
