I haven't been posting much lately, but I've been around. I went out for a 30 min run this morning. It was great. It was the second time I got to run in the new neighborhood (we moved into our house about 5 weeks ago).

I hope everyone has a great day - and a great workout.

i'm on a biz trip in indianapolis and got motivated to get up early and run on the FLAT areas downtown.... that was the good news, the bad news... i felt terrible with the run, i had to force myself to finish and had leg/stomach issues muscle aching etc the entire run.  bottom-line, not a pleasant experience.  I was able to gut it out for 8.5 miles (my longest), but the pace was definitely very off for me.  the only thing i could salvage from the run is that i didn't quit even though i really really wanted to, and i was able to finish the last mile and a half at a better pace for me.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I had a good run today..... 4 x 2 mile repeats on the track at goal marathon pace. I finished in 1:13:10 averaged 6.5 MPH, which was a very comfortable pace and if I could keep that pace for the marathone in Ironman this month, I WIL BE STOKED!

I have a 1 hour bike ride this evening and am planning a 5-6 mile "Brick" after. Have a good day ya'll.....

Spin class this morning then off to the TM.  I only got 1.9 miles before rushing to the potty, and when I got back, the fan was moved.  So, that was that (can't do it without the fan - especially at the end).  On a good note, though, the first mile was at 7.0, the next at 7.1.  Felt kinda hard, but more than doable.

I did 2 sessions of a run today one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.....  5 miles total. Very proud of myself although my right hip is a little sore now.   I will push through it and run tomorrow.

No official workout - I cleaned my house.  I swear, I do not know how 2 adults, 2 cats and 2 birds can make such a mess!
