Saturday Workouts!!

I did an endurance bike ride. 45 miles, 3.5 hours of riding, but a lot more elapsed time.

Hi everybody.  This is my first time on the Exercise and Fitness Forum.  I think I'll hang out here more in the future.
(nice to see you McMadam - we are already friends and you are one of my inspirations)
Yesterday (Saturday)  I also did an endurance bike ride.
I rode 99.3 km  (that's 62 miles for my American friends)
Average speed was just under 15 km per hour  (slowed down considerably for the last couple of hours)    Bike computer tells me that I burned 2000 calories !  (But I do it because I enjoy it. )
Not too bad for someone still 40 lb. overweight, and in the heat !
Kinda proud of myself.  Taking today off.  No wait ... I can't help myself ... I'm going to go for a walk ! LOL.  
It's all kinda surreal still for me.
Had my surgery not quite 9 months ago.  (lost 135 lb.) How would have thunk it ?? 
A year ago I got winded climbing the stairs in my house.
This summer I want to rent a canoe (have the trip semi-planned, know where we are going)
and maybe next year buy a kayak !!
