Today is Hunter's 6th Birthday so we did a workout at home

"Hunter"

6 Rounds for time

6 Shoulder Press 20# KB (each arm) (Hunter used can of fruit tied in a sock for the KB)
6 KB Swings
6 Goblet Squats 20# KB
6 OHS 15# KB (each arm)
6 Rolls down the lawn...yeah..... itchy... dont reccommend this!
Jog to the top of the lawn and start the next round

Yeah my 6 year old beat me... of course he can roll down hills faster than me and he was using a lighter weight... so thats all I have to say about that!

For me, it was my longest run since probably March.  Made it 7.5 miles.  I'm surprised that these latest runs haven't felt as bad as I anticipated they would.

I multi-tasked and ran an errand on my bike.

(I discovered my used bike is a 2003-04 Diamondback Wildwood trail bike I put road tires on. It seems tuff enouff but it sure doesn't coast much!!!)  And yes,... it has a kick stand.

I rode (according to Google Maps) a 16 mile loop from Col Hts to Dinwiddie to my sisters to deliver her brthday card, drank a bottle water and rode back.  16 miles in 1.5 hrs and my calves were cramping like crazy.  It was a hilly ride that kick my patooty.  My wind was good but my legs were fried.  Guess I got some training to do!

Back to jogging tomorrow.

I did my first (metric) Century ride!

I went with a bike club rather than triathletes and it was a lot of fun. But now I'm exhausted.
