The sports director for our local NBC affiliate asked me to meet him at our local high school track for an interview. He also wants more fat picture. OK he didnt call them that. He wants more "pre-surgery" pictures. I am a coach and have been interviewed several times, but only one time about me, and that was more about me and my daughter with her cancer. I really want to be an advocate for people Daring Greatly and becoming active for life. I hope I don't screw this up too much!
Tri Daring Greatly! www.tridaringgreatly.com

I will no longer be a spectator, a dreamer, a wonderer. I AM a doer; not only a goal setter, but a goal achiever. I will lead by example rather than word. I will "DARE GREATLY!"

Very cool!  It's hard for some of us to toot our own horns, but I'm sure you'll give a great perspective of life before/after surgery and the benefits of exercising for life.

I started a running club at my school and the local paper came out and did an article about it/me, pretty cool.  As a coach you've been through it, though it is easier when it's about 'your kids' isn't it, lol.
Have fun and realize that more people notice us and are cheering for us than we'll ever realize.  You never know who might be watching and will say "hey, that looks like fun I should give it a try".
Do post the link to the interview when it's done!!
