Hi Everyone!!
Today I ran the Kings Grant 5K - finished in 33:29 - a few seconds off of my best 5K time.  I ran this same race last year (my first one!!), and did it in 41:23.  It's nice to see how far I've come!!

So, what is everyone else doing this gorgeous Saturday??

Congrats Elisa!  I'm such a slow runner but have gotten down to a 11:11 mile vs. a 12 minute mile.

Today I did my first open water swim training for my first sprint triathlon Aug. 2nd.  It went ok, half mile swim, water not too cold or too smelly.  I have a bit of a hard time sighting the markers and maintaining a good freestyle stroke but it didn't take me long at all to finish.

I am posting this Sunday evening as I just got back from vacatioing at the Frio River in the Hill Country. I did my first hill run ever (just rolling hills) and went 4.0 miles at at 10:17 pace. It was a great feeling getting in the run even though I was on vacation.
