best muscle cream?

Hiya!

I was wondering if anyone had any input on what muscle cream is the best? Preferably ones that contain natural and non-toxic ingredients. I've never hurt so much in my life and it's all from exercise!

not sure which is the best, but i've been using icy-hot lately, but that's mostly because it was the only thing i could find in the house when i was in a bunch of pain this week :)

Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??

Just FYI, Menthol and Camphor (in most muscle creams) are natural products. The ointment itself is usually an oil- or hydrocarbon-type base.

The generic brand I have also has some methyl salicylate, which is very similar to aspirin, which is also semi-synthetic from natural products.

I took a course in medicinal plants last fall.

I agree that Biofreeze is pretty amazing stuff. When by IT band screamed at mile 13 of the Disney marathon, Biofreeze enabled me to numb it sufficiently to run/walk to the finish.

Biofreeze is an awesome product. I received some samples in my bag at one of my races and ended up having to use it after my last hilly half marathon and it really helped. I really like the consistency of the product and that cooling effect. I had a stiff neck this week and used my last sample on it so I need to break down and buy a bottle.

I've been an avid icey-hot girl for years, but my massage therapist gave me some samples of biofreeze to try and I loved it! My calves were about to FALL off this last weekend, I started stair climbing and I was just not prepared to have such sore calves!

Where do ya'all buy the biofreeze?
