Took my new road bike out for a spin this morning in North Georgia.  I planned on doing 15 miles, but decided to just go for an hour and see what happens.  i ended up going for a bit over an hour (63 minutes) and finished exactly 18 miles, i think the av speed was around 17 MPH.  it felt pretty good, but i'm guessing i'll have a sore butt tomorrow!

next...
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Five days in a row and the gym is closed today.  I'm taking a day off.  I do need to try out my new goggles and get back to swimming.  Only 6 weeks until my next tri.

I did a 5k race this morning - finished in 34:09 - not my best, but not bad either.

I did a 5k this morning -- part running part fast walking -- averaged a 13:02 mile pace and finished at 40 min 30 seconds.  1 minute faster than my 5k last month!  I walked around for 25 minutes prior for warm up and after the 5k met a friend and walked another 3 miles with her in 55 minutes.

I can't wait until running is easy for me and I can run longer stretches at a time.

I walked the peachtree road race 10k. If you divide my time in half it was a PR! If you don't it was a PW! All was good. I think I'm done with "racing" until after this kid is born.

8 miles at an easy pace.  I'm so proud of my group.  They are ready to tackle the 15K Boilermaker next weekend and they're already talking about registering for more races in the fall.  The brainwashing is complete. :)

Took a rest day -- my arthritis has been worse than I've dealt with for about 5 years and I ran out of Celebrex (slapping myself for that one).
Tomorrow 1 mile+ Open Water Swim + long run 8-10 miles (or more)

Saturday, I got up for our early run and bike ride.  We ran 5 miles and hopped on the bikes for a 20-mile bike ride.  Capped it off with a great breakfast at my favorite Greek breakfast hangout.
