Wednesday Workouts...

Hey guys!  How's this fine Wednesday going for you?

My workout today was an interval-type run:  8 min at 6.7, 2 min at 7.0 for 40 minutes.  Right at 4.5 miles.  Felt great!

Warmed up with 8:00 mile then stretched, 15 sets of tricept work, 7 sets of ab work, a short 10 minute easy spin to flush the legs, a cool down 1 mile run at 6.5 mph  followed by stretching and a 10 minute soak in the dry sauna. Have a good one...

Today I did 2.5 miles of power walking, a 40 minute open water swim, and a short .25mi jog to top off the evening with a friend who is doing the tri with me. She gave me a great refresher on how to swim efficiently. Awesome day!

 45 minutes in the pool -- probably 1200 yards or so.  God I love and hate 1 armed drills!  I can feel the difference but they are BRUTAL!
Walked about 2 miles with a parade practice (did lots of sprints up and down a 150+ person band though, lol)  Wanted to go for a run tonight but it was raining :(

I did 2000M in the pool yesterday.

I did some one arm drills too. I usually mix them up and throw in catch.

Had my first swim class at the YMCA.  Boy do I have a lot of work to do before my Tri.  Also did an 13 mile bike ride before swim class.

wednesday was a much needed rest day for me... had a good workout today however, maybe i'll start a new post for today

1 hour Group Power class, a barbell exercise program.

Had a meeting in the afternoon, so couldn't do my work outs.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010.  Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Had a great workout this morning at the gym,
10min treadmill warmup
20min eliptical
normal weight machines, decided to do a second rep.   

then we went and walked the festivities.   After instead of driving to Tim Hortons I decided to walk. 

My wonderful day ended with a bang!   Fireworks.
