Tuesday workouts

Today was my toughest day both mentally and physically.  am in the middle of still  helping my younger brother move so I got to bed at almost midnight and all I ate for supper was a pack of whole wheat cheese crackers and a slice of swiss cheese. Still got up at 4 andd went to the natatorium. I did my longest workout at 1000 yards. 300 yard warm up. Main set was 5x100 with 15 sec rest in between, followed by 200 yard cool down. Then I drove back home and rested about 2.5 hours then went and ran 4 miles on the track. Man it felt hot, but temp read only 85 with a heat index of 92. Thats not too bad, I guess I just had a bad day. Finished the run with a pace of 10:21. I love being a oach and teacher and having the summers off. I think I am just going to lay around and relax the rest of the day!

 gym workout for me... 43 minutes of weights (chest/tri), 38 minutes on the staitionary bike base rpm of 102 w/ 7 1 minute sprints @ 124 rpm, then 38 minutes on the stairmaster...
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

My workout today was a 50-minute spin class.  Stopped and chatted with some ladies for a few then did a good 4-mile run.  First 3 miles at 6.7, last mile mostly at 7.0 with a little speed at the very end.  Did my 4 miles in 35:25.  Good day for me!

10 minutes on elliptical before class.
1 hour Group Active class involving 1/3 step, 1/3 free weights, and 1/3 floor exercises with some yoga.
15 minutes on dreadmill.  Plus, 3 minutes cool-down.
15 minutes on stationary bike.

I did 10 miles on my road bike today out and about in the beautiful weather we're having here... finished in an hour, what a great ride!

I normally don't workout on Tuesday.
BUT
I got a call today, there was a cancellation and I will now have my RNY Sept 2 instead of Oct 7.

So instead of grabbing something to eat to celebrate I grabbed my dog, i-pod and a pair of sneakers.  I did a nice walk/jog.  Thats right!  I JOGGED!!!!!! I felt great and the dog benifited from it as well.  I think I will do this on all my "off" nights.  and as my fitness level increases I can repeat this processx3 as I have 3 Boxer dogs! LOL

64 days....hmm....what to do...lol
