My first race report!!!!

I actually did it.  I ran a 10 mile trail race at Great Glen trails in NH Saturday with my DH.  I finished in 1 hr 48mins. My goal was to finish the race and I ended up being in 15th place.  I am so amazed and proud of myself.  It was really tough but so much fun and I can't wait to do it again next year!!!!   The race had 3 loops.  The first was carriage trails, the second was single trail up a mountain and I have to say it was quite muddy.  The third loop was mixture of carriage trails and single trails through the woods.  The final part was a small river crossing.  At that point the water felt great!!!  My DH ran the race with me.  He had a great time too.  Now I can focus on my tri training.  I will definitely run some more races in the mean time though.  I love running!!!

  That is me  #2!!!!!

That's great stuff Michelle.  Looks like you are flying.  That is a great time especially on a trail.  Tough running.  Keep it up!
