I'm actually surprised registration for CdA is still open.  Everything I've read indicates that openings will be had for longer than previous years due to the economy.  With that said, if you want to do one you're best bet at getting is registering the day it opens.  Exception to this I believe is Louisville.  I'm excited and scared all at the same time!

I'm looking at:

CdA - late June
Vineman - early Aug
Canada - late Aug
AZ - late Nov

CdA sounds awesome, but it also seems kind of early. I will have only done my second Half-Ironman by late June. (Assuming I do the Long Course at Wildflower. Which is still not 100%, but I'm thinking I really want to and, if I do manage it, then I could do anything.)

I'm thinking AZ is my best bet, with maybe Vineman (since it's completely local and takes longer to sell out) being there as a possible tune-up race. But Canada would make a nice vacation....

Decisions, decisions...

Anyone have any experience with any of those to give some perspective on which one would work better for me?
