Open Water Swim. Up and back at Del Valle Lake for 1.2 miles total. I was determined to go the whole distance and I did, but, man, it kicked my butt. I definitely have some work to do before The Big Kahuna.

I wasn't going to run afterwards, but then I said "what the heck" and did it anyway. Ran 4 miles as fast as I could so I'm counting it as my tempo run for the week.

Then we had a picnic/BBQ because it's our coach's last day before he turns us over to the new guys.

Helped conduct OWS clinic with my tri club. It was an open clinic, so abotu 75% of the folks were not members.

I told the owner that Sherry is retired from demonstrating dolphin dives until next season. My preggerness is getting in the way. Time to be smart and not dumb.

Anyhoo-I swam about 800M total.

Stuck at the back of the pack w/the noobies and yelled at them to sight and watch where they were going. I guess they're big fans of zig-zagging!

I ran two miles today after church service. I was going to take this as a rest day since I did my first brick yesterday (tri training) but after meeting the World's Greatest Athlete, Decathlon Olympic Medalist Bryan Clay, I was so pumped, I had to hit the pavement!

In honor of Father's Day weekend, Bryan came to speak at my church and signed autographs after services. What a great champion!
