Friday workout and weekend plans

Er, that's a tempo run. LOL

I did it too and I now can run a 5k with a pace under 11 min. I hope to get to 10 min. miles by the end of the season!

Saturday morning:  Started prepping for my Niagara Falls Marathon in October by running seven miles.  The humidity was terrible (72%), but I plugged away and kept a steady, slow pace.  (also need to start getting ready for teh Sea Isle City 10-mile beach run).
Sunday morning:  Ran three miles, hopped on the bike for 26 miles, and then ran four miles.  I should be ready for the dualathon in July as long as I can cope with the heat.  Humidity was much more tolerable today.

The long bike ride was great. We did a route called Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Two of the bears were pretty tough and Goldilocks was steep, but short. I think it's going to be good prep for both Donner Lake and my two day bike event.
