What is a dual start pool swim start
My 1st tri on the 28th is this type of start. Can someone help me out with what this is. Thanks!

Sounds like they are strating two at a time?

OK, I found out. You are right Dan. 2 people start at the same time on opposite ends of the pool. There are 6 lanes. The odd numbers start on 1 outside lane and even numbers on the opposite outside lane. You then swim down the lane and back down the same lane then under the rope to the other lane swimming a snake pattern in the 3 lanes for a total of 6 lengths of the pool for the 300 M.
