Tri and Run store
Ok so, I have always looked at these stores as if they are from outer space...why would I ever go there???????
Well I went in there with a friend of mine today. She got fitted for running shoes and wow what a process.
They pick the shoes that match your activity, you try a pair and walk/run on a treadmill, they assess those shoes for support etc and then get your feedbac****il you have the perfect pair. Then as long as you wear them indoors you have 30 days to try them and if they are wrong you can return them for a refund or exchange. They may be more exspencive, I have not priced shoes elcewhere yet.
I have not gotten any good gym shoes , I hate shoe shopping! So I will be going back to get fitted soon! Sure beats the alternitive, sitting in a sports store trying on pair after pair, that may or not be what I need. I would have been fitted today but it was right after work....so i wouldn't let anyone near my kinda stinky feet! LOL
PLUS they offer learn to run classes as well as fitness boot camp etc.....hmm,
I am now finally looking forward to getting new runners!
Take care,
Michelle
