Suggestions please

I just had lap RNY May 13.  When I am cleared to get back to the gym, what would you suggest for a workout that is going to produce results results..  before surgery I was doing water aerobics/ walking.  Thanks

Not trying to be flip here, but whatever exercise you will do and stick with.
If you were doing water aerobics, continue to do them.
Keep walking.  If your body will let you, try to start jogging or running when able.
Cycling is great as is the elliptical machine.
Some high repitition, lower weight resistance training will help as well.

But ultimately it is going to come down to you finding exercises that you like and will continue to do.

i started out walking and with light weights (after my doc cleared me to lift weights @ 6 weeks).  from there i branched into swimming, running, and now biking as i'm training for a tri.  it took me a while to feel comfortable with exercise again to increase, so please be patient, you will find results if you keep up with it.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
