Wildflower

Anybody that participated recall how far in advance they opened registration.
I want to do this event next year and don't want to miss out.

I have 2 races on my 'A' wish list next year.
Wildflower Olympic distance
Vineman 70.3 distance.

Everything else is bonus material.
Time to get back in the pool.  Can't let the swim stop me.

I got invited to Wildflower, so to be honest I dunno Scott.   I know the Olympic and mountain bike races were sold out months in advance but the 70.3 still had slots open a few weeks out.  All the races were sold out a few weeks before the event though. 

The Vineman 140.6 is one of my dream races.  I dunno if I'll get to it next year but maybe in the next couple of years.  

BTW, Wildflower is on my 2010 race schedule.  My tri club, Baton Rouge Tri, is already making preliminary plans to attend based on my coach and my advanced scouting report of this year's race.   We have around 8 committed so far and I'm sure we'll have more as we get closer to 2010.

I registered 3 weeks before and got in. But they had registration open back in Dec. when I first started looking into doing a tri. So I'd start looking in the Fall of this year.
