Monday's Workout!

I kind of lumbered through 3 miles this morning.  The stomach was a bit upset and there was a twinge in the calf that was new to me.  One of those runs where you just finish and call it a success.

Finally going to bite the bullet and do some speed work.
So, I have some sprints in my future tonight.

Did a 4 mile run in just over 40 minutes, rode 12 hilly miles on the bike in about 50. I'm doing my first 5K this Saturday and will start to wind down a little later in the week.

Got a cure for Monday blues?

One hour of group barbell exercise class, exercising similar to weight lifters on TV.
15 minutes on treadmill.  Plus, 3 minutes cool-down.
15 minutes on stationary bike.
15 minutes on stationary recumbent bike.

Also walked around a WalMart super store and then a Winco store.

I ran at the gym. I haven't been to the gym in ages! I've been doing everything outside.

I got in 5 miles running for about 50 min (plus a 2 min walk at either end for warm-up/cool down) at 5.3 speed.

It's funny you say that about the gym.  I am going today just to make my mambership mean something.  I think it's been 3 weeks for me.

At least I don't pay for the one at work. But today I'm going down to the swanky gym in town to see if I can bargain on a membership. (They have some sort of deal going.)

I want to start doing a spin class every week and also I need a place to do lap swimming. I can do it at the place where I do my "podium" class but it's not really that convenient and the pool is often dirty. I'd like to do it on the way into work so a place near home is better.
