Running Everyday

For the past few weeks, I have been trying to run 3 miles basically every day.  If my primary form of exercise is running, do I still need to give my body a break and take a day or two to recover each week?

Give yourself at least one day off a week.  I may even work in another day or two of cross training in lew of the running.   Perhaps swimming, biking, elliptical or walking would do the trick.
