I went to the gym early this morning for a 5-mile run on the treadmill, including 5 (400m) at 7:30 pace.  I was supposed to do 10 intervals, but was feeling very fatigued and couldn't get my heart rate down between intervals.

I walk around the reservoir about a 20-minute walk from my home on weekends (a lap takes 10-15 minutes).  It's very legal and encouraged, as long as people don't throw foreign objects (even dead people) or jump over the fence into the drink.  Right now the reservoirs are empty due to sewage construction nearby.

You're very lucky that you get away with running around your reservoir!

I did the eliptical for 10min on level one, (Haha  I couldn't even do it for 5min a few weeks ago) It really wasn't bad so I decided to stay on for another 10min on "random", well HOLY CRAP! good thing the machine counts down your time, I had punched in for 10 min so there was no way I was going to stop and let that machine beat me! I was so glad to see the last 2min!  My heart was at about 160bpm the whole time and I had super rubber legs when I got off, but it was well worth it!  To cool down I did a 20 min walk on the treadmill.

Take care,
Michelle
