Exercises for the calfs

Hi!
Anyone know of any good exercises to firm up and reduce the size of the calfs?

Hi Moosie,

I do at least a half hour of stairmaster every day. My calves are almost ridiculously strong! It certainly helped with firming the muscles. I have arthritis issues with my left ankle since I broke it badly about 20 years ago. I mostly work on strengthening so I don't end up hobbled when I get older.

I would think pilates might be helpful in lengthening the calf muscles? Or possibly yoga? I do a lot of stretching and flexibility exercises. Dancing would be really good for firming leg muscles, as well.

Thanks for the response!

I have really "strong" legs but after losing so much weight I have a lot of floppy/floppy skin in my calfs.
I'll look into the Pilate's and yoga....
