I bought my Wii a few months back, I bought the wii fit without knowing there was a 330lb weight limit. I bought this when i was at 360.  I am now officially at 328 with my clothes and shoes on.. so in shorts and a tank top - I should be able to get on the Wii Fit??  NOPE.. tells me I'm over the weight limit still - anyone else have experience with this - how much less than 330 do I need to be? :)  Hello btw!  I have been using my wii for exercise, I have dance dance revolution 2 with the dance pad and I've been doing boxing!

just like every scale is different, maybe the wii think s you are still over 330.
2 pounds isn't that much of a difference and could concievable be the wii not reading accurately.  That or the other scale you are using to weigh in.

Good luck.

I just looked at the Operations Manual again.  It says not to wear shoes or socks when using the balance board.  Also are you using the extensions so the board is not laying directly on the carpet?  That might help.  Sounds like you are doing good.  Keep up the good work.  How is Dance Dance Revolution?

Is your floor carpet? My Wii Fit seems very accurate with weighing, and I had no problem getting it to let me use it at 329, but I've got laminate flooring.

From all of my husband's research (he's a technician) the extenders don't work well at all on carpet. His suggestion is to go to some place like Home Depot and get "2x3 FT or 3x3 FT" 1/2" to 3/4" inch piece of plywood to place beneath it.

Dance Dance Revolution is really fun, it has really improved my coordination and balance.  It's really hard at first - I turned the settings to start out but I am gradually moving them up.  I do have carpet but it's more commercial grade than something really plush.  I will try the plywood idea.... I'm down to 325 now and still not able to get it going..
