Friday Workouts, how are you shaking and grooving?

Not done for the day but did a 5 mile run -- kept a 9:25 pace.  That rest yesterday did me well!!!  Goal is at least 1000 yards tonight in the pool.

25 mile ride avg 19.2 mph and a 7:00pm Softball game tonight. 75 mile ride tomorrow. Take care ya'll.....

I don't know why, but my heart just wasn't in tonight's run.  It was a very slow 4-miler - couldn't even pick up the pace to get it over with quicker.  Good thing there's always another day.

I had to make up the 4 mile run I didn't do yesterday (it was raining - I will melt in the rain - LOL!!).  So glad I got it done!!

10 mile run today in 1:55.  Started with 2 miles easy, then 6 at half-marathon pace, then back to 2 miles easy.  My body really feels the miles this week.  10 Wednesday, 5 yesterday and 10 today.

Resting tomorrow then 14 miler on Sunday...joy joy

For Friday, 3/20/2009:

1 hour group class called "Group Active" that increases our cardio fitness, builds our strength, and improves our balance and flexibility.  It involves 1/3 step, 1/3 lifting barbells, and 1/3 floor exercises with some yoga.  Learned the hard way that it's not a good idea to do this class two days in a row! 
15 minutes on treadmill, averaging 2.5 mph with 5.0 incline.  Plus, 3 minutes cool-down.  It was raining this morning, and I didn't think that the rain would stop in the afternoon, but it did by lunch time.
1/2 hour power-walking in the neighborhood.  Weather:  overcast with ground drying up.
