Thursday Workouts!

For Thursday, 3/19/2009:

1 hour group class called "Group Active" that increases our cardio fitness, builds our strength, and improves our balance and flexibility.  It involves 1/3 step, 1/3 lifting barbells, and 1/3 floor exercises.
15 minutes on rowing machine.
15 minutes on stationary recumbent bike.
1/2 hour walking in the neighborhood.  Weather:  overcast but dry.

DS (lap) with Dr. Clifford Deveney. Cholecystectomy (lap) with Dr. Clifford Deveney 19 months post-op.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010.  Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

 Wasn't feeling too good today so I just did 650 yards in the pool.  Did get in a complete 100 set + a 2nd one with only about a 15 sec. break.  Glad to know I'm making progress in the pool.
Goal tomorrow (keeps me honest) 5 mile run @ 10:00-10:15/pace + 1000 yards in the pool

tried to use the soloflex.
I think that thing was made for midgets.  I can't even lay down on the bench without hanging off on one end or the other.  I think I'm going to have to recycle that thing to someone else.

I ended up doing some negative pull-ups and some bench press on the old style bench.
