Wednesday Workouts!

For Wednesday, 3/18/2009:

1 hour Yoga class, using chairs instead of mats.
3 rounds of circuit training, working with weight-resistant machines.
Walked around neighborhood for 1/2 hour.  Weather mostly sunny with a few fair-weather  clouds.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010.  Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

ran 3.5 miles followed by 45 minutes swimming

walked 3 miles and did a 20 min exercise video.   Am 13 days out and down 20lbs.since surgery.

47 min. on treadmill. Spent the first part calibrating my NikePlus and the rest running. Got in 3.59 miles.

Walked 1/2 a mile. Ran 4 miles in 36 minutes and then walked another 1/2 mile to cool down.

I have slowly been running faster. 9:00 pace is what I am trying to maintain as my leisurely pace, on longer runs anything over  12 miles I have been targeting 10:00 mile, I want to raise that to 9:30. My goal this year  is to get under 24 minutes for a 5K and under 2 hours for a 1/2 marathon.
