I am looking for something to help with muscle recovery after a workout. Cell mass has been recommended . Any thoughts on this. It is creatin.

For recovery after a run, Runners World magazine reccomends low fat chocolate milk. Right number of carbs to protien ratio.

Your target carb / protein ration should be 4 : 1 ..... 20g of preotein = 80 g of carbs.... Simple rule of thumb....

After my workouts I drink a 50g protein drink (ABB) followed by banana, then a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat, a granola bar or two a Kashi breakfast bar and whatever else my body tells me it wants... But I am crazy like that . It's all just fuel to me these days... Just remember 4 : 1. Take care

maybe I need to add more carbs. I get plently of protein, but the carbs are lacking.
