Today was a 3-mile run outside, including five 250-yard hill repeats at 7:03, 8:25, 8:04, 8:08, and 8:21.  The variety of workouts that my coach has me doing sure does keep the runs interesting.

I ran 3 miles for the first time!!!  I loved it!

I did a 5 mile run.  We went skiing for the first time last Friday - I guess I used some muscles I usually don't because my ass is hurting after that 5 mile run - LOL!!  I have another 5 mile run planned for Wednesday night, hopefully, I can work my muscles out.

Brick workout swam 1 mile followed by a 3.5 mile run

Track workout.

2 x ( 1200 R/I, 400 Recovery)
2 x ( 800 R/I, 400 Recovery)

We were supposed to do 3 x but I'm slow.

I made myself push myself on the last 400 of the last 800 like our coach says to do and I was surprised how fast I could run. I was crawling for the subsequent recovery lap, of course.

I'm going to do that pushing thing in my 5K this weekend, too. Maybe I'll break my 37 min. time!
