Hump Day Workouts.
Hey Vicki,
I know it's too early to try to start running after my marathon, but I had to test the waters anyways! I went to the gym, hopped on the treadmill, ran about 3 minutes and my legs told me to stop, so I listened. I went over to the stairmaster and climbed 120 floors in 20 minutes on level 11 & 12 the whole time. I then did 1/2 mile cooldown on eliptical. Sat in the sauna for 15 minutes and felt pretty good. Take care...

One hour swim clinic. I was excited because no one in the slow lane passed me except during the stuff with the kickboard (I suck at that part even more than the rest). I can swim 3x as long without breathing too compared to when I started a month ago!
Here's what we did:
4 x 75:
Odds: 25 Breast/25 Free/25 Breast
Evens: 25 1 Breath/25 3 Breaths/25 5 Breaths
300
1 x 75: Descend by 25s
1 x 100: 50 Right Arm/Left Arm Swim w/ Board/50 Swim Rest :30
2 x 25: FAST, Rest :30
1 x 100: 50 Right Arm/Left Arm Swim w/ Board/50 Swim Rest :30
2 x 25: FAST, Rest :30
1 x 100: 50 Right Arm/Left Arm Swim w/ Board/50 Swim Rest :30
2 x 25: FAST, Rest :30
1 x 100: Back
625
9 x 50: 3 groups of 3: #1 Easy, #2 Moderate, #3 Fast, Rest :10
450
1x50 pretend OWS
Plus I did another 400 m during the warm-up
So the grand total was: 1825 m

I did a 45-minute spin class and an easy 2-mile recovery run.

For Wednesday, 3/4/2009:
1 hour Yoga class, using chairs instead of mats.
3 rounds of circuit training, working with weight-resistant machines.
In lieu of the treadmill, went to JC Penney at a very large shopping mall after my workout and mall-walked the entire mall after finishing my purchases.
