Today was an easy 3-mile recovery run on the treadmill at 10:30 pace.
I'm always amazed that "recovery runs" really do make me feel better. Yesterday's 12-miler left me a bit sore, so I approached the treadmill with some trepidation. After the first quarter mile, my legs started loosening up and by the end of the 3 miles, they were felt great.

45 min. on stationary bike. The Random Hill program kicked my butt -- it was all high hills with only very little rests. I thought I was going to die!

I had a great run today!
Set the tread to 6.9 and did the last 10 minutes at 7.0.
Managed just over 3.8 miles in 33 minutes (lost track of time when someone near me fell off the tread and I went to help her or I would've made the full 4).
That's the kind of run that clears your mind and makes you feel good all over. I haven't had many of those lately, and it sure got rid of the stress and crabbiness!
