So anyways, I did a 3.5 mile run this evening in 40 minutes. My legs are SO sore after the first swim clinic. I would have thought my legs would be stronger, but those laps using the kick board must be using some different leg muscles.

Swim class sign-ups were today at the Y, so I finally took the plunge and registered for private lessons starting Tuesday. It should be interesting.

I'm gonna cheat -- Monday I got a 4 mile run in 44 minutes. Today I did a 2 mile run @ 9 1/2 minute/miles. Did some sprint work and got a little more than 1/2 mile @ a 7 1/2-8 minute/mile. Glad to see my speed starting to return. Didn't do more because I was intending to do 20 minutes on my bike. Well about 8 minutes into the bike my front derailleur broke, bummer. Getting my new Felt tri bike Saturday so hopefully they can fix the derailleur as they're doing my fit!
