Sunday workouts
Hi All,
I'll get things started today....
My training plan called for longer fast-paced intervals today. I ran 5 miles on the treadmill, including (2) 1-mile repeats at an 8:30 pace. This is the fastest I've ever ran a mile, so I was pretty excited to be able to do two of them.

I had the 2nd week of my 4 week swim clinic. I'm still the slowest one in the pool but my stroke has improved so much.
We did a bunch of drills to help with our stroke including swimming with tennis balls in our hands!
I swam about 1800 m (give or take, sometimes I lose count) in about 1.5 hours.

Rained all day today, so I was forced to do 8 mile treadmill run in about 90 min.
Took Linn's advice and started upping my carbs, felt pretty good throughout the run, was able to keep 5.5 MPH pace, then 6 MPH the last 20 min, which I'm usually not able to do on the tail end of a long run.
Gonna see how this diet change will affect my training this upcoming week
