Sunday exercise.. Who has it?

I got outside today and smiled for the first mile of my 2.2 mile run.  You would have thought it was a race the way I blew my wad in the first mile.  Anyway it was nice to get outside!!!

I hope it's okay for me to just jump in here...

I used Sunday as a cross-training day (doing couch-to-5K program) and rode 45 mins on my stationary bike.  It was a lot harder than I expected, though my resistance level was quite low.  I'm still pooped today, what's up with that?

Do you eat something right after your workouts?  If not, I'd say that's one thing that could help you from one day to the next.  It's all part of recovery so your body can restore the glycogen that you used while working out.  I will often eat a PB&J, a Cliff bar, or a peanut crunch Odwalla bar right after.  That generally keeps me from feeling so worn out and my subsequent workouts from being so hard.
