weight training vs cardio post op

Hi there!  I have not had my surgery yet, but am wondering what % of time I should spend doing cardio and what % doing weight training.  My husband has this program called P90X and I started doing it with him.  It can be mixed up so that you do 3 weight and 2 cardio days or 3 cardio and 2 weight (with the 6th day being yoga).  Not sure which is better...or if just all cardio or all weight training would be better.  Any thoughts?

Also, will weight training before and/or after surgery help with sagging skin and breasts post weight loss?

Thanks!

Honestly, 30 minutes of good moderate to high intensity (heart rate 140-180) cardio should be done at least 5 days a week for basic health and wellness.  Strength training is also important to maintain muscle tone, but the bulk of calories burned will be from cardio.

I have lots of problems with saggy skin (especially the breasts and belly), but it would be much worse without the exercise.
