I'd ask your Dr. abou****er based exercises like swimming or water aerobics.
Exercise in the water can take a lot of the stress off joints and my be helpful to you.

I'd see what your medical team thinks about you doing yoga. I have had back problems for several years and yoga was a great way for me to start exercising without worsening my back condition. Best of luck to you!
