Any workout goodies from Santa?
I scored a Garmin forerunner 305. Now all I have to do is figure it out.
It came with the heartrate strap, I think I might get the cadence attachment for the bike as well.
1 much needed pair of insulated riding gloves
1 pair of rain pants for riding.
$100.00 towards a wetsuit. Waiting on E-bay to see if I win it or not.
I hope everyone had a great and enjoyable Christmas.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
I made out pretty good from Santa this year. Here is what I got from the fat man in the red suit:
1. A gift certificate to attend a Total Immersion Swim clinic.
2. A Road ID.
3. A gift certificate (money) from my mom for a Resting Metabolic Rate testing.
4. A yellowish/green running pullover.
So with the above toys, I am motivated and ready to take on 2009, and all my goals that go along with it.
I just finished signing up for a local running camp, that trains together, with seminars, etc and ends with competing in a Half Marathon.
Now I just need to sign up for the swim clinic or take the money and hire a local swim coach to get me on the right track with swimming.

sounds like you got some awesome goodies. I can't believe I would be so excited about exercise equipment and clothing, but I think this was one of the first Christmas seasons that I not only got stuff I wanted, but stuff I needed. It's all going to get some good use this year.

I got a HydraCoach bottle. It keeps track of how much water I've drunk.
It's kind of cool, but you aren't supposed to put anything in it bu****er, which is disappointing. I like to drink tea at work and I often lose track of how many times I've filled up my tea bottle. Also, sometimes I need to add some flavor to the water to make it go down better. But, hey, it's got a COMPUTER!
I also got a gift certificate from Amazon. I'm going to buy some triathlon books and maybe a HRM if I can figure out which one to get.
