I've ALWAYS wanted to do this race. The swim is what REALLY excites me! AWESOME! Anyhoo...a lot of $$$...

I know it's silly, but the thought of sharks is what keeps me from doing more open water swims.

Anyhow, keep us posted, I only live a couple miles away, I'd love to come and cheer for anyone that is doing the race.

I can't afford $300 a night for hotel on top of a $400 race fee and cost of bike transport, 2 plane tix and throwing the dogs in jail. Sigh...looks like I'm OUT! :(
